School Infrastructure

    Each child develops differently At Lotus Podar Learn School, we understand this perfectly and provide our young learners with the ideal learning environment where they are not limited by anything in their endeavours to learn.

    At Lotus Podar Learn School, we develop our school infrastructure with an aim to maximise the potential of each student to learn, reduce distractions, enhance focus and remove any form of discomfort or difficulty.

    Hence our schools are designed incorporating the principles of ergonomics at all levels. Our classrooms are spacious making sure the students can focus on the lesson. We have specially designed furniture in each of our school classrooms that make sure the student is comfortable all throughout the school session. Other facilities include:

    • A fully equipped medical centre with requisite first-aid as well as a trained medical professional.
    • Safe transport for students to school and back in buses that are safe, clean and professionally managed. Each bus has a specially trained driver, lady attendant and a conductor. Buses are installed with CCTV cameras keeping safety of students in mind.
    • A state-of-the-art sports centre and playground that allows for simultaneous sporting activities.
    • Separate water and sand based play areas for the younger children.

CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY

At Lotus Podar Learn School, our teaching methodology expands beyond the boundaries of traditional board and chalk teaching to include technology and modem techniques wherever possible. To help students understand and visually relate to complex concepts, every classroom has been provided with projectors & visualisers. With the help of such technology we make sure our students have a firm grasp on the subject matter and are able to think in three-dimensional space.

Computer Lab

    The age of technology is upon us and it is becoming increasingly difficult for someone to function without a knowledge of computers. At Lotus Podar Learn School, we realize this and have a state-of-the-art computer lab in the school premises. The computer lab is air conditioned with adequate number of latest PCs which have all the required software installed. All PCs have internet connection. This lab is specially designed to educate the students with the latest technology so that the children get comfortable with technology from a young age.

Transport

  • Transport service is an optional service facilitated and outsourced by the school for the convenience of its students.
  • The school bus facility available to the student cannot be expected or demanded as a matter of right. The Transport Department at their own discretion has the right to disallow any student from availing the bus facility.
  • Students availing the bus facility will be provided with a bus no, pick up and alighting stop no. Generally, the bus timings will operate within 10 to 15 minutes of the pickup and alighting time. Parents are requested to accommodate the same.
  • Any change in the bus timings will be notified to the parent by the School Transport Department.
  • Students while traveling on the school bus must maintain discipline. Any student guilty of misconduct will not be allowed to avail the bus facility.
  • A student shall be refused the bus facility if involved in damage to the bus property. Besides, the damage done will have to be compensated by the student.
  • Students/ parents will not have any transactions / altercation / physical fight with the bus staff. Bus employees are not authorized to change/add bus stops.
  • The school has taken utmost care for the safety and convenience of the students.
  • It is important that any change to the usual pick-up/ drop routine is intimated to the transport in charge a day in advance. Bus crews have been instructed to bring back to the school any student who is not collected by the authorized person at the designated bus stop.
  • No child will be handed over to an unknown person/ to anyone without the parent I-card which must be produced at the time of pick up.
  • Please cooperate with the drivers and attendants. It takes nearly two weeks to set the transport route. Hence, there is a possibility of mismatch of timings given to you at the start.

  • Each extracurricular activity has a carefully constructed syllabus, which is taught in a scientific and planned manner to ensure the participants not only enjoy the sport, but also develop the qualities that these sports nurture in the athletes

Skill Development

Our skill development courses bridge the gap between curiosity and action, empowering our young learners with the ability to follow their passions. A wide variety of holistic hobby classes are offered to our students such as:

  • Theatre
  • Indian and Western Dance
  • Classical and International Music
  • Public Speaking and Debating

Experts from each of these fields are brought in to teach the students the importance and subtleties of each subject. The ultimate objective is to help create all round students — successful both in and out of the classroom.

Inter-Podar Tournaments

At Podar we believe that excellence and leadership can be taught. To facilitate this, we leverage our pan-India presence to conduct Inter-Podar Tournaments in sporting and cultural events where Podar students from across the nation compete against each other in a battle of wits, spirits and endurance.
